Developmental Profile

Early child development is considered to be the most important phase to determine lifelong health, well-being, learning and behaviour.

The course of development depends, critically on:

  • The quality of stimulation, support and nurturance that the child experiences in his/her family, neighbourhood, and care environments.
  • Your child’s development depends on both the traits he or she was born with (nature), and what he or she experiences (nurture).
  • All areas of development (social/emotional/intellectual/language/motor) are linked. Each depends on, and influences, the others.
  • What children experience, including how their parents respond to them, shapes their development as they adapt to the world.

Get Your Child Assessed

Developmental assessment is a process designed to deepen understanding of a child's strengths, skills, and resources. Ideally, it will also provide some insight into the caregiving and learning environments that are most likely to help a child make fullest use of his or her developmental potential.

The Developmental Profile Includes: Checklist (to be filled by parents), detailed reports with graphic presentation of results, interpretation, advice and suggested activities)
